About Us
India is home to a magnificent and deeply rooted tradition of disseminating both physical and metaphysical knowledge. The fountainhead of this ancient wisdom lies in the Vedas—eternal scriptures composed in the sublime Sanskrit language. For millennia, through the refined and melodious sounds of Sanskrit, India’s enlightened sages and seers have transmitted profound knowledge across generations. This sacred transmission, known as the Guru-Shishya Parampara, has shaped enlightened individuals and cultivated a harmonious society dedicated to global peace, human unity, and the sustainable growth of both mankind and nature.
Legacy of SWASTIVACHANAM
On 24th August 2010, aligning with Shravani Purnima, Late Shri Dinesh Chandra Joshi—a revered Vedic Sanskrit scholar, yogi, saint, and visionary from the divine land of Uttarakhand—established SWASTIVACHANAM. The organization was founded with the noble intent of sharing India’s timeless Vedic wisdom with the world, and of reviving the spiritual and cultural fabric of society through the Sanskrit language.
Over the past fifteen years, SWASTIVACHANAM has grown into a vibrant platform for cultural renaissance and intellectual reawakening. With the unwavering dedication of its committed volunteers and Sanskrit enthusiasts, the organization has consistently championed Sanskrit journalism, Yoga, Ayurveda, Vastushastra, Indology, and the broader Indian Knowledge Systems—particularly focusing on youth engagement and public outreach.
A Glorious Milestone: 15 Years of Service
This Sanskrit Day, on 9th August 2025, SWASTIVACHANAM proudly celebrates its 15th glorious anniversary. This milestone is a testament to its unwavering commitment to preserving, promoting, and celebrating the elegance, depth, and spiritual richness of Sanskrit. As it moves forward, the organization continues to serve as a beacon of light—guiding society on the path of cultural pride, spiritual harmony, and timeless wisdom rooted in India’s Vedic and Sanskrit heritage.
